Bodega Villa d'Orta, SL is a company established in Aragon, a region of northern Spain, in the province of Huesca. The company is located in Barbastro, a city of 18.000 inhabitants erected on the foothill of the Pyrenees; this explains the name of the “Appellation of Origin” of wines produced in that region:
Denominación de Origen  SOMONTANO  (under the mountains).

   Bodega Villa d'Orta is also a vineyard of 50 hectares of quality bio grapes. The vines are Bio certified: “Agro biological”. The parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo were planted between 1999 and 2000 in Laluenga and Barbuñales, two pueblos within a radius of fifteen kilometers of Barbastro, capital of the wine industry in SOMONTANO.

   Bodega Villa d'Orta specializes in the production of high-quality grapes (it is often said that the Barbuñales grapes are among the best in the region), and in the business of trading wines and grapes. Our wines, made primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo, are produced and bottled in Bodega Huerta de Vero. The winery is erected near the Rio Vero, a small river that runs trough SOMONTANO, just a few kilometers from the medieval town of Alquézar.
